What Art 3 has taught me this year is an abundant use of techniques, visual perspectives, abilities, mastery of color and different methods to approach challenging assignments. This class overall has been a great and mellow experience with amazing new and old friends. Personally iv'e gained more confidence confronting many of the difficulties of new and provocative obstacles in art. At first many of the assignments set upon us were laborious, but after some conformity. Many of the huge art assignment became easier and less difficult as I progressed. What I learned was to accustom myself in new experiences, which further would expand my knowledge in the specific area.
My voice during this process of learning in art has strongly progressed to a strong and determined voice. I now have been able to attack and finalize any assignment in my way. My determination to finish and complete an assignment is less hesitated and more mindful of my technical goal. I am highly sensitive to obvious and subtle connections between format and the content of artwork. I approach obstacles with a more deep and sophisticated manner.

Strenghts and Weaknesses
My strengths are pretty much a variety of different mediums. I like to challenge
myself, and I'm open to new and different techniques. But specifically my
strengths include charcoal pencil and paper. In this medium my strengths
focus on proportion, shading, and realisticness. I focus making my work
look as close or exact as the object I’m drawing. I also enjoy other
mediums like painting, construction, ceramics, oil pastels, or water
colors. I enjoy painting because at the end of the work I feel really proud of what I have done and it makes me feel appreciative of the hard work and time involved in the process. Constructing 3D models of paper, clay and other materials is also entertaining because its a new experience that I really dont get to do. I enjoy learning and trying new things especially when they involve constructing something creative and amazing.
Out of all the mediums my weakness must include creating rubber stamps,
I really dislike the work included in making stamps. I think it
includes so much work and at the end i'm never satisfied with my work.
Or i think that the finished work doesn't compare to the amount of work
done. The part I hate most is at the end when u have to put the stamp on the paper and you realize it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to. In this process your kind of limited because you really cant go back after you cut the rubber stamp. The weakness I strongly struggle is time managing. Through past
experience I noticed I have trouble finishing my assignments on time,
and usually turn my artwork late.
My goals involve enhancing my painting skills. I’ve done only two
paintings on canvas. It was a new experience that I really enjoyed. I
love the feeling at end when you finish and realize the amount of work
and how surprised you are on how good it turned out. I would like to
paint on canvas again and learn to techniques and improve my painting. I think my favorite technique is trying to add shading to the color. Its difficult but when you accomplish it, its the best feeling.
The brick walls stopping me from reaching my goal are other mediums
which we will be doing in class rather than painting. Mediums that I
least enjoy doing are pretty much the brick walls. These include rubber
stamps, constructing paper mache and ceramics. These limit my ability of learning new things and practice the mediums I want to get better at. These brick walls not only stop me from reaching my goal, they also take my passion in working as an artist.
Piggy's Skull
This is a pig' skull. This project was used to learn how to use an eraser and focus on a source of light.
Window Project
This is my drawing of the window. It took around 4 hours. It shows the source of light coming from the top. Uses a strong skill of shading.
Glass Project
This is my interpretation of the glass. I used different mediums to make a collage of me holding the glass. The mediums used were collage, color pencils on gray construction, water colors, pastels, and white color pencil on black construction paper.
